Diskos cream jug – Desiree

Desiree was founded by Civil Engineer H. C. Torbøl in 1964; he had previously been the director of the porcelain factory Bing & Grøndahl and ”Norden”. The factory was located in Benløse near Ringsted.

The Diskos tableware set from Desiree is a hand-painted, oven-safe stoneware service. In this set, nature, the firing process, and the artisan jointly shape the decoration and play of colors, so that each individual piece appears with its own unique charm. During production, emphasis has been placed on practical qualities, making the tableware exceptionally durable in everyday use through a special hardening process during firing.
