Set of 12 Chippendale mahogany dining chairs

Set of 12 mahogany Chippendale dining chairs with black horsehair upholstery, which shows wear through. The chairs measure 59×57 cm, height to seat 49 cm / to back 100 cm. Chippendale furniture has been popular in England for many years; production began in the late 18th century and continued into the 20th century. According to the owner, these chairs were purchased at auction in England in 1906.
