Set of 4 Chippendale armchairs/salon chairs in mahogany and black upholstery. The chairs measure 76×64 cm, height to seat 50 cm/to back 97.5 cm. Chippendale furniture has been popular in England for many years, production started in the late 1700s and continued into the 1900s. According to the owner, these chairs were bought at auction in England in 1905. The chairs are identical to “Pair of Chippendale dining chairs” no. 211102.
